My stay at The Royal Hotel Near West Lake was quite mixed. The location was misleading, as it wasn't near West Lake, and the garden view from my room overlooked a school with loud drumming. While the beds were firm and everything functioned well, the steep, dangerous stairs created a challenging entrance, especially with luggage. I faced issues with both billing and the lack of staff assistance. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel.
